Purpose of Data Processing

Your personal data will be used exclusively to manage the recruitment process, assess your qualifications for current and future job opportunities (if you consent), and maintain records of recruitment activities. The primary legal basis for processing your data is your consent, as the information you provide is submitted voluntarily. While you are not legally required to provide personal data to DevsBase, not doing so may limit our ability to evaluate or consider your application.

We may also process your data based on our legitimate interests. These include efficiently managing recruitment workflows, evaluating candidate suitability, making hiring decisions, and responding to legal inquiries. Additionally, we may process data to meet legal obligations, such as verifying your right to work in a specific jurisdiction. If your application is successful, we will continue processing your data as needed for onboarding. DevsBase does not use automated decision-making during the recruitment process.

• Relevant skills and compensation expectations

• Legal authorization to work in specific regions

We do not request special categories of personal data (e.g. racial or ethnic origin, health status, political opinions, or religious beliefs) unless legally required to provide accommodations. Please avoid including such information unless necessary.

We may also collect professional data from public sources or, with your consent, from third parties such as former employers for reference purposes.

Data Sharing

Your personal data will be shared internally only with individuals directly involved in the recruitment and hiring process, such as hiring managers, executives, interviewers, and relevant HR or operations staff. We do not share your personal data externally, except with trusted service providers who assist us with recruitment and data processing systems. If you are offered a position, additional data processing may be required for onboarding.

If your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will ensure the destination country offers an adequate level of data protection. Transfers may be made under recognized mechanisms such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your data may also be disclosed to regulatory or judicial authorities if required by law.
